Nature-based solutions for the climate-biodiversity nexus in cities—InfUr seminar with Judy Bush
This seminar was recorded on Thursday 14th August 2025.
Abstract: Do snakes and possums (and other biodiversity) belong in the city? Are they the ‘undocumented’ residents of our urban streets, parks, waterways and houses? What does it mean to extend an environmental justice lens to account for the needs of nature? And how can we listen for the voice of urban nature for better planning, policy and governance?
Judy Bush is a Senior Research Fellow in the Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning, researching climate change, biodiversity and collaborative governance in cities. She is the recipient of a research fellowship from the Australian Research Council (DECRA).
