Dadang Tom Utomo
I am currently a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Architecture, Building, and Planning at the University of Melbourne, Australia. Prior to my doctoral study, I worked as a junior lecturer at the Department of Regional and Urban Planning at Universitas Brawijaya, Indonesia, focusing my teaching on urban transport. Inspired by the ever-growing and dynamic discussion about urban informality, my PhD research focuses on indigenous transport practices, especially on the contribution of informal transport actors to urban economy, mobility, and identity.
