Zareen Habiba Islam

I am a PhD candidate in Department of Architecture, Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET). My research area is urban livability through the lens of post-colonial and feminist urbanism theories. I am currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Architecture, University of Asia Pacific. My field of interest includes the connection between the user and the built environment professionals through the study of behavioural patterns and psychology of the user, their perception of built form urban area and city, social needs, sub cultural differences in lifestyles, and the meaning and symbolism of space.
