Over the last five years, I have collaborated with scholars and development workers in South and Southeast Asian cities in studying issues around COVID-19, informality, collective action, and urban governance. My research interests include urban informal livelihoods, social inclusion, urban planning issues in global South cities. I’m currently working on a project that seeks to understand the spatial logic of informal street vending in three Asian metropolises.
