Paloma Bugedo Caroca

I’m a visual creative, originally from between the Andes mountain range and the Pacific Ocean, with an educational background in Architecture and Fine Arts. As a cycling advocate and urban planner, I’m interested in the link between community bike workshops, resilience and how to promote a behavioural shift in the transport paradigm. As part of the Wattle Fellowship, I’m interested in activating urban spaces and engaging with communities through collaborative, creative and performance art, such as participatory muralism and storytelling community workshops. Currently I’m involved as a Research Assistant in the Community Engagement for Disaster Risk Reduction project. I’ve previously worked with community organisations, government agencies, academic institutions and NGOs that deal with active mobility, participatory design processes and tactical urbanism.
