Jan Christopher Quing

I’m an urban planner and spatial data scientist, currently working as a consultant at SGS Economics & Planning. I’m also a sessional teaching staff at the Melbourne School of Professional and Continuing Education. Prior to my involvement in the built environment sector, I worked as a software engineer in the Philippines.

I’m interested in the way technology can help to inform policy and decision making while communicating insights with the most impact. My specialties include building interactive dashboards, infographics, full-stack web applications, and interactive maps. I hold a Master of Urban Planning from the University of Melbourne, and BSci Information Systems & BFA Information Design from Ateneo de Manila University, Philippines.
