Eka Darma Kusuma
I’m an urban planning researcher and practitioner from Indonesia with a Bachelor’s & Master’s degree from Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB). I have a diverse portfolio of professional experiences. I have worked with local and regional governments, collaborated with national and multinational NGOs, and have been involved in academic and research efforts at ITB. I have always been fascinated by the liveliness and complexity of urban streets, particularly the aspect of street life, walkability and pedestrian behaviour. I want to explore the complex interaction and relationship between urban walkability and other elements of urban street assemblages and how they can be incorporated into the local urban planning and design efforts.
