TEMPORARY / TACTICAL URBANISM

This studio explored the potentials of temporary/tactical urbanism through a range of projects and sites in central Melbourne. This was an exercise in learning to see the city as a space of possibility; to identify and exploit underutilized capacities through innovative design approaches. The studio was linked to the ARC Discovery Project Temporary/Tactical Urbanism: Mapping Assemblages in Agile Public Space.
